U-105 sinks the British steamer Bassano (4843t) northwest of Rockall with the loss of 1 crewman. 56 survivors are picked up by the British destroyer Wild Swan.

  • The British submarine Pandora sinks the Italian steamers Palma (2715t) and Valdivagna (5400t) off Cape Carbonara, Sardinia.
  • The British submarine Parthian sinks the Italian steamer Carlo Martinolich (4208t) off Calabria.
  • The Italian coastal steamer Giovanni Mari (636t) sinks on a mine 12 miles off Bardia.
