Diplomatic Relations

The French and the Poles make an agreement which states that the Polish Army in France will be equipped and maintained at French expense.

Finland - Winter War

Day 36

In northern Finland the final order to attack is given by Col Siilasvuo. At Salla Detachment Rooninen breaks off its attack at Joutsijärvi. On the eastern Isthmus in the Taipale sector the Russian offensive is repulsed by the Finns.

Members of the public are forbidden to take photographs of the damage caused by enemy bombers or of equipment used for military or civil defence.
