In the US 7th Army's IV Corps area, the French II Corps reaches Dijon and makes a patrol contact with OVERLORD forces. In the VI Corp area, the 36th and 3rd Divisions are moving against Vesoul. The 45th Division, to the right, is driving on Villersexel.
