In the US 5th Army's IV Corps area, the 135th and 442nd Regiments, on the 34th Division left flank, make slow progress toward Leghorn. On the right, the 133rd Infantry attacks through Casale and the 363rd Infantry moves forward abreast it. Progress on the right flank of the IV Corps is negligible.
