In the US 5th Army's IV Corps area, the 34th Division's 135th and the attached 442nd Regiments make slow progress above Rosignano. With the recapture of Hill 634 (Monte Vase) by the 363rd Infantry on the division right, the 363rd and 168th are able to continue northward. The 168th pushes into Casale and clears it before dawn on the 10th. On the right flank of the IV Corps, the 88th Division's progress is also limited by strong opposition. TF Ramey is given the mission of protecting the right flank of the corps along Highway 68 and maintaining contact with the FEC. TF Ramey, consisting entirely of armored units, begins a slow advance on the road net east of Villamagna.

In the FEC area, the Germans force the 4th Group of Tabors from Hill 380 after a seesaw battle. The Moroccan 1st and 6th Infantry Regiments relieve the goumiers and start toward Hill 380, regaining it also before dawn of the 10th. The Germans apply pressure against other units, forcing back the French salient on Highway 2.

In the British 8th Army area, plans are made for at attack by the XIII Corps on Arezzo on the 15th, by which time the New Zealand 2nd Division of the Canadian I Corps will have moved forward to strengthen the assault. The XIII Corps will in the meantime maintain pressure on a limited scale against the enemy below Arezzo.

In the Polish II Corps area, the Italians take Filottrano after about a week of hard fighting.
