Italy

In the US 5th Army's VI Corps area, the Germans continue a stubborn defense of Albano, Velletri, and Lanuvio. CCB, 1st Armored Division, reaches Campoleone Creek and is reinforced by the 157th Infantry. The 135th Infantry, 34th Division, reduces a small enemy position southwest of Lanuvio. The 36th Division continues a holding action below Velletri and at night launches an attack toward Monte Artemisio. The British 1st Division is attached to the corps at midnight.

The II Corps continues its movement toward its new zone.

During the night of the 30th, the 85th Division relieves elements of the 3rd Division. The 349th Infantry, 88th Division, arrives southwest of Cori and is attached to the 85th Division.

In the FEC area, elements of the Moroccan 3rd Division move into Palombara Pass.

In the British 8th Army area, the Canadian I Corps continues toward Frosinone and makes contact with the French at Ceccano.
