North Africa

British and Imperial forces continue to advance from Bardia to Tobruk. The first contingents make contact with the defenses in the eastern sector of Tobruk. The fall of Bardia has reduced the number of troops available to the Italian Commander-in-Chief, Gen Graziani, by more than half. For the defense of Tobruk he can call on no more thatn 25,000 men, 220 guns and around 70 medium and light tanks. West of Tobruk the Sabratha Div is at Derna, the 17th Regt at Benghazi and an armored group at Mechili.
