Western Front - Battle For Caen

At 0700 the Germans counterattack with infantry and tanks. They take some prisoners but their effort fails. During the evening the defenders finally are able to put down a minefield in front of the village, something planned a couple of days earlier, but because of the shelling were unable to do so.
