Off Balikpapan, Borneo - June 30, 1945. The 4-in guns laying down a barrage during the bombardment of Japanese positions by the RAN crusier, Shropshire. Balikpapan was heavily bombarded before the Oboe 2 Operation landing of members of the 7th Division the next day.
