The US Navy aircraft carrier Bunker Hill (CV-17) on fire after being hit by two Kamikazes on May 11, 1945. The Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer Charles S. Sperry (DD-697) is alongside fighting fires, barely visible are the superstructure and funnels of the Cleveland-class light cruiser Wilkes-Barre (CL-103) behind Bunker Hill.
