Josef Kramer, Bergen-Belsen commander, is transported in a Jeep during an inspection of the camp on the morning April 17, 1945 after his arrest. He had been stripped to the waist, and his braces and boots removed to prevent him from hanging himself. The man standing over Kramer is Sgt George Robinson. Dated: April 17, 1945
