SOUTHERN SECTOR

After the German rejection of their surrender demand, the Soviets unleash an overwhelming barrage upon Pest. 3 days of arty fire begin, striking the defenders and civilians alike. The 2nd Ukrainian Front also resumes its attacks into Pest, striking all along the German and Hungarian perimeter.
