NORTHERN SECTOR

Verro falls as the 67th Army advances upon Tartu and the 1st Shock Army upon Valk (now Valga).

CENTRAL SECTOR

Bach-Zelewski realizes it is going to take a house-by-house struggle to destroy the Home Army. To blast the Poles into submission, the Germans bring up a 600-mm mortar, a pair of 380-mm howitzers and two 280-mm howitzers.
