Western Front

The US 3rd Army establishes headquarters in France at Néhou. The corps assigned to it are: VIII (now with the US 1st Army), XII, XV, and XX.

In the US 1st Army area, the VIII Corps continues to close in on La Haye-du-Puits, which is nearly enveloped, but the Germans are putting a staunch defense. The VII Corps commits the 4th Division to the west of the 83rd as the attack toward Périers continues against unabated opposition.
