Western Front

Units of the 21st Army Group regroups in preparation for renewing the offensive.

The US 1st Army commits the VII Corps, with the 4th, 9th, and 83rd Divisions under its command, between the VIII and XIX Corps. VIII Corps commands the 8th, 79th, 82nd Airborne, and 90th Divisions. The XIX Corps retains the 29th and 30th Divisions. V Corps has command of the 1st and 2nd Infantry and the 2nd Armored Divisions. The 3rd Armored and 101st Airborne Divisions are held in 1st Army Reserve.
