Personnel contemplating the bomb damage to the 95th Evacuation Hospital on the Anzio Beachhead. The tragic bombing of February 7, 1944 caused 28 deaths, of which 22 were hospital personnel. Bomb fragments ripped through the administrative, receiving, and operating room tents, killing, wounding, and maiming personnel at work and patients.
