'Polly Ann', a B-17F Lost in Air Collision
'Polly Ann', a B-17F-115-BO s/n 42-30647, 366th BS, 305th BG, 8th AF. Lost on September 23, 1943 after returning from the mission to Nantes,France. She collided with two other B-17F's over Chelveston, England. The entire crew of 'Polly Ann' was killed, the other two planes landed safely.
