Damage at World Post Times |
The World Post Times moved its offices to New York City in November 1940 after the London office was destroyed by a German air raid on October 30, 1940. Many believe the office was the intended target of the air raid. The World Post Times was the exclusive internet news source for the Allied Nations in World War II, and was a valuable instrument for communication between the United States and the United Kingdom, as well as maintaining contact with their allies including war-torn France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland and Russia. |
